We prepare our graduates for rewarding careers in investment banks, hedge funds, asset management companies, financial software and data companies, and insurance companies, with roles in financial modeling and software development, model, market, credit, and operational risk management, asset valuation, trading desk support, trading, and portfolio management.

The MSMF office of career service management serves the career and professional development needs of all Rutgers University Mathematical Finance students and alumni. We strive to assist students in the many and various stages of development. We offer opportunities to develop professional and networking skills through Individual Consultation, Professional Development Seminars, Guest Speaker Series and various programs like Personal Branding, Self-Assessment and Relationship Building. We offer opportunities for the career seeker to clarify his/her career direction and goals and provide many resources to enhance the job-search process.

Our philosophy and practice is student-centered: Our goals, decisions, and resources focus on meeting students’ needs and developing the total professional. While we encourage students to meet with us in person, we are also available through email or by telephone (appointment preferred).
