Math Finance Program Summer Review Coordinator

Each year the MS in Mathematics with Option in Mathematical Finance (MSMF) program admits approximately fifty students (including non-degree, part-time, and dual-degree students). Some of these students have worked for two or more years in industry and want to take the opportunity over the summer to refresh their mathematical background or fill in gaps in their knowledge which were not apparent to the Admissions Committee at the time of application review. This year, following the practice at other top programs (including the University of Chicago, University of California-Berkeley, Princeton and others), we will facilitate incoming students who would like to review prerequisite course content over the summer on a self-study and self-testing basis.

Rutgers MSMF Scores in Rotman International Competition

Rutgers M.S.M.F. team scores at Rotman International Competition
Congratuations to the Rutgers MSMF team who scored overall 19 out of 52 teams in the 2014 Rotman International Trading Competition. They scored 11 in commodities trading and 12 in options trading. MSMF Career Employment

March 7, 2014 The Rutgers Mathematical Finance Master's Program is a STEM certified program. We are an academic affiliate member of the International Association of Quantitative Finance so our students can join and benefit from their activities. In addition, our students participate in skill-building activities such as the Rotman International Trading Competition, the IAQF Case Competition and the PRMIA Case Competition. We also have a Quant Club where students can develop leadership skills.
