Speaker: Professor Paul Feehan, Director, Mathematical Finance Master's Degree Program

A Master's Degree in Mathematics with Option in Mathematical Finance can lead to exciting career opportunities in the financial industry for Rutgers students considering majors or minors in mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science. Professor Paul Feehan, the Director of the Mathematical Finance Master's Degree Program at Rutgers-New Brunswick, will explain what is mathematical finance (also known as financial engineering, quantitative finance, or computational finance), career opportunities in quantitative finance groups at companies like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and others, and the master's degree program at Rutgers (www.finmath.rutgers.edu). The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session.

Who Should Attend: Undergraduate majors in mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, and computer science -- especially those in their junior or senior years, although the presentation will also be valuable for freshman and sophomores seeking guidance on appropriate course selections.

RSVP Requested: Space is limited. If you are interested in attending, please email your RSVP to Program Administrator (finmath (at) rci.rutgers.edu). Please include your full name, undergraduate major, and year.
