ABSTRACT
I will present examples of optimal mixing of scalars advected by incompressible flows under given constraints on the Sobolev norm of the velocity. I will also discuss related results on loss of regularity for solutions of linear transport equations. This is joint work with Giovanni Alberti and Gianluca Crippa.
